Tim has over 25 years of experience with managing Fortune 100 company’s key internet technologies including vast experience in architecture, designing, deploying, marketing and supporting some of the largest online sites in the world, from MSN internet Access to Expedia World Wide Hotels.

Tim is results driven, senior technology executive with a background in product management, marketing, sales and technology. Customer service oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Recognized for consistently achieving high levels of productivity as a group motivator, cross-organization facilitator and individual contributor.

After college, Tim co-founded Accelerated Media in Seattle in 1993, just a few years after the World Wide Web was formed. Tim designed some of the very first web sites on the internet working with major advertising agencies in Seattle including ones for Air-touch Cellular, Seattle Center as well as Shoplocal.com which was later sold to the Tribune company.

In 1995 Tim went to work for Microsoft as a Software Engineer working on Direct X 1.0 and Windows Media Player, which was the foundation of Microsoft's Windows gaming experience including XBOX.

Tim also worked on the original CMS (content management system) for MSNBC online prior to moving to MSN where he managed the MSN Explorer setup experience. During this time, he started MSN Internet Access Operations managing the Microsoft Billing systems as well as the MSN email services. While managing the email service his team was critical in productizing the SPAM technologies, presenting to Bill Gates Executive staff to justify the SPAM solution that is used today across Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, MSN and Hotmail.

Tim went on to Expedia in 2007 where he managed the World-Wide IT Portfolio and Hotel Inventory System for Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com and TripAdvisor.com

Tim also has spent time as an independent consultant for Microsoft on special projects which included the initial launch of the Microsoft Retail Store as well as the lead consultant on the re-branding of Microsoft Surface.com

in 2012 Tim joined Bellevue Startup Apptio as a Senior Managing Consultant where he was critical in evolving the TBM (Technology Business Management) marketplace. He served as the lead Solutions Consultant for major Fortune 100 accounts including AT&T, Nike, Safeway, Boeing and BECU, as well as an advisor to the State of Washington and State of Iowa for implementing their states TBM initiative.

In 2014 Tim co-founded 206 Sports Group managing branding for Superbowl Champion Russell Wilson. He has worked on numerous athlete’s digital media brand strategy across the NFL, MLB and MLS. Tim most recently designed and created the SportsFan app for play by play gaming.
